I forget all the details (perhaps someone can help?), but one of the editions I think was edited by Rahner, and practiced the same "archaeologism" condemned by Pius XII. In other words, on any selected dogmas which the modernists wanted to re-write, he just lays out the early Church teachings on the matter, then conveniently skips over all the scholastic and Tridentine theology of the next 1500 years, and picks up with modernist writings of the 1950's and 1960's to "re-develop" these dogmas in the modernist direction. The traditional Denzingers are top-notch. Just be careful which edition you end up with (and pre-1962/1965 is no guarantee of avoiding Rahner's tricks; I think the version I have in mind may even have been from the 1950's).
A lot of these people who are upset about openly lesbian women receiving communion don't have a problem with open heretics giving it, claiming to be the leaders of the Church, etc.
