    • This is the book I bought to formally learn Latin besides what I knew from other languages and the liturgy. I noticed that not only the story of the monks and mule but also the whole book (now called "Get Started in Latin") are available for free online and as a PDF. There is also Italian and other languages there. The "Teach Yourself" website has many audios that coincide with their books, but I haven't used it since they use the classical pronunciation.
