Personally, I believe the imposter was one of the other nuns in her convent. That would be by far the easiest way to pull off a hoax like this. That way you don't have to train anyone else how to behave like her, and you don't have to teach anyone else the details of her life. The other nuns in her convent would have more detailed knowledge of her life than anyone else, since they live with her every day. This would also be the easiest way to avoid the difficulty of having to bring in an outside actress and set her up with a nuns' habit and so on. No, you just get one of the other people she lived with every day for years, bring her out, and have her pretend to be Sister Lucy. Someone like that would also be more able to imitate her mannerisms than anyone else.

This is kind of a horrible thing to say, but if I were going to pull off a hoax like this, that's exactly how I would do it.

I think if Chojnowski could get a list of the women who entered that convent, and get let's say high school graduation photos of them, or something like that, he would find that one of them was the imposter. That's my theory.

In this video (subtitles in English available) at mark 1:28:38 Professor Bezeera comments:
"We also found out that Lucia was left handed, why do we know this?  There is an image of her from 1946 when she goes to the Well of the Apparitions to drink water, and there she uses her left hand."

There is another video of Professor Bezeera's, where he talks about a video of the imposter at the same well, and she uses her right hand to drink.  If I can find it, I will post it.

Somewhere else I read that the Real Sister Lucy, when she smiles, the smile is an upward U, corners of the mouth go upward...The other sister L, when she smiles, the corners go down, ...so the exact opposite :(

Drinking with a glass in her left hand? WOOOW.

Just before she is carrying a small basket in her Left Hand, and again, a medium sized bouquet of branches or flowers.
