One of the names mentioned in the pasted docuмent is Coverdale. Myles Coverdale, a priest who went Anglican when Henry VIII betrayed the Faith and later became Anglican Bishop of Exeter under Edward VI, was the translator of one of the pre-DR and pre-KJ English-language Bibles. These are some others:

Tyndale's NT - 1525
Coverdale's Bible - 1535
Matthew's Bible - 1537 (basically part Tyndale, part Coverdale)
Great Bible - 1539 (corrected version of Coverdale + Matthew)
Taverner's Bible - 1539 (revision of Matthew)
Geneva Bible - 1560 (the so-called Breeches Bible)
Bishops' Bible - 1568

The complete Douay-Rheims Bible was published in 1610, and the King James Version in 1611.

I believe one can still find the original Douay-Rheims Bible for purchase on the internet. At least, I saw it there once not that long ago.

Thank you, Hobbledehoy. That's a different one. The one I was thinking of was the one mentioned in your link written by Dr. William von Peters. Either one, I think, would be a nice addition to anyone's library.
