  • An excellent epitome of the spiritual doctrine of St. Louis-Marie de Montfort regarding total consecration to Our Lord through the Blessed Virgin Mary, appropriate for this Feast Day, is found in the same Saint's work The Love of the Eternal Wisdom (trans. A. Somers S.M.M.; Philadelphia, Penn.: The Peter Reilly Company, 1949):

    Hobbledehoy,
I just went to visit your posting, titled St. Bernards Sermons on the Canticle of Canticles, at http://www.cathinfo.com/catholic.php/St-Bernards-Sermons-on-the-Canticle-of-Canticles .  Very sorry to say that you seem to have done a great deal of work that has recently been undone.
I notice that it seems to be the 2nd most viewed post in "The Library", so I hope there is an easy way to repair it.

I tried to PM the above info to you, but got the following error message:
"There were problems sending your message to some of the recipients.

This could also be due to their inbox size being over the limit set"

    Hello!

I've disabled the PM feature, which is why nobody (or mind) can send me a private message.

Regarding the Sermons of St. Bernard upon the Canticle of Canticles and other deleted scans, I plan on uploading them again as soon as I can. The way Photobucket works (at least as far as I could figure it out) is that when you re-upload a file it does not get the same URL.

I hope I can get to this as soon as I can, as that particular edition of the Sermons upon the Canticles is very rare. Even the modern translations and editions thereof can be pricey.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Now I know that there is interest: usually when I upload something and it doesn't get much attention or thumbs up, I deem that it is something extraneous and so I tend to not upload such things. The scanning process is too consuming for me to scan things that are irrelevant or uninteresting.

    God bless!
