    Invocations:

    Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the battle, that we perish not in the fearful judgment.
    (Roman Missal)

    (An Indulgence of 300 days)

    Saint Michael, first champion of the Kingship of Christ, pray for us.

    (An Indulgence of 300 days)

    Glorious Michael, seraph inflamed with burning love of Jesus in the most holy Sacrament; thou who, passing days and nights in his Royal Presence, didst find there those dear delights which, inundating not thy heart alone but thy whole body with surpassing sweetness, threw thee into an ecstasy of joy, and who, rapt in thy God, didst feel thyself faint for love, being unable to support the torrent of consolations; vouchsafe, I pray thee, powerful advocate, to obtain for me lively faith, firm hope, and burning charity towards this priceless treasure, the precious pledge of everlasting glory; so that by thy intercession I may, through the whole course of my life, be numbered amongst the true worshippers of Jesus in the Holy Sacrament, and hereafter enjoy Him face to face, together with thee, in an eternity of bliss. Amen.

    One Pater, one Ave, and one Gloria.

    Hymn: Te, Splendor et Virtus

    O Jesu! life-spring of the soul!
     The Father's power and glory bright!
     Thee with the Angels we extol;
     From thee they draw their life and light.

    Thy thousand thousand hosts are spread
     Embattled o'er the azure sky;
     But Michael bears thy standard dread,
     And lifts the mighty Cross on high.

    He, in that sign, the rebel powers
     Did, with their dragon prince, expel;
     And hurled them from the heavens' high towers,
     Down, like a thunderbolt, to hell.

    Grant us, with Michael, still, O Lord,
     Against the prince of pride to fight;
     So may a crown be our reward,
     Before the Lamb's pure throne of light.

    To God the Father glory be,
     And to His sole-begotten Son;
     The same, O Holy Ghost, to Thee,
     While everlasting ages run.

    Ant. Most glorious Prince, Michael the Archangel, be thou mindful of us; here, and in all places, pray for us to the Son of God most high.

     V. I will sing praises to Thee, my God, before the Angelic Host.

     R. I will adore Thee in Thy holy temple, and confess unto Thy Name.

    Let us pray:

    God, who in the dispensation of Thy providence dost admirably dispose the ministry of angels and of men; mercifully grant that they who ever minister before Thy throne in heaven, may also be the protectors of our life on earth. Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    (The Roman Breviary)

    Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Divine Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
