Amateur footage [Excerpts] of the Funeral Mass for our Founder, +Lefebvre. 2 avril, 1991 AD.

At the 13 minute mark the cortege ends.

I noticed Père François, Capuchin from Morgon, at 4:25.

+ W  about 3 min from the ending.

The smaller your computer screen the better the resolution, tends to be grainy otherwise.

Mgr. Marcel Lefebvre R.I.P. +

Priest-victim Fr Henry La Praz (Todo Nada) who would die a couple of years later 22:48

Thirty-five years ago, Arch. Lefebvre gave up his soul to God.

Mgr. Lefebvre was replaced by the new bishops - to confer ordinations or confirmations. Two and a half years later, in March 1991, he had to interrupt one of his pastoral trips. His health had declined and had to be admitted to the hospital in Martigny, Switzerland.

On April 2, before the cameras from the entire world, the body of the small guy from the bush of Gabon, the African Archbishop, of the delegate of Pius XII, the founder of the Fraternity of St. Pius X, had passed. [March 25, 1991 R.I.P.+]

His body is carried by priests and he rejoins his final place at the Seminary of Écône.
________
Testimony of Mrs. Guy Toulemonde, née Marie-Thérèse Lefebvre, the last surviving sister and goddaughter of the founder of the SSPX:

He wanted to do God’s will; he wanted to do what God expected of him. That much is absolutely certain.

I remember that one day, when he was having great difficulties with Rome, I spoke to him:

“But listen, when you die, what will happen? Will there be someone to replace you? What will become of the Fraternity?”

He answered me:

“Nothing special, it’s quite simple. If the Fraternity is of God, it will continue; and if it is not of God, it will die. That’s all. It will be what God wills. It doesn’t trouble me at all.”

And indeed, I am convinced that this was precisely his desire: that the Fraternity do what God wants it to do, and that he himself do the same.

Translator's comment:

For such a great prelate of the Catholic Church, and listening and viewing this very short video, I think this is the worst English dubbing I have ever heard or seen. What a shame! Doesn't the SSPX respect their Founder?  Actually a disgrace; the voice-over is inaccurate, mumbled, grammar out the window,  and simply terrible. The French sub-titles are OK. I translated from that, but the whole video should be redone with perfection in mind...at least!!

I added the actual date of his death in [...] ...FOR CLARITY.
  AI at its worst.
