  • From The Little Flower Prayer Book: A Carmelite Manual of Prayer (Chicago, IL: Carmelite Press, 1926), here is the formulary for the Mass of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus. What is exceedingly interesting is that the Ordinary of the Mass is according to the Carmelite Rite!

This is a precious opportunity to peruse and study the Ordinary of the Mass as found in the Missal of the Friars of the Order of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel according to the Ancient Custom of the Church of Jerusalem, a Medieval usage of the Roman Rite proper to the Carmelites of the Old Observance that the Apostolic See approved formally after the promulgation of the Bull of Pope St. Pius V Quo primum tempore.

    Enjoy and pray!
