Some are questioning whether Bro Nat belongs to the Orthodox Church.

Letter affirming my Brother Nathanael's affiliation as a monastic with the Russian Orthodox Church from the Chief Hierarch himself.

This is to confirm that Brother Nathanael (Kapner) is an Orthodox Christian monastic (novice) under the spiritual direction of his father-confessor, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw).

Brother Nathanael is a regular communicant of the Holy Mysteries at the Synodal Our Lady of the Sign Cathedral in New York City and continues to be a member in good standing of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

There is no objection to Brother Nathanael receiving the Holy Mysteries in other Orthodox Churches.

viva - that was never the point. The point is that people claim bro nathanael is a nutcase who is rejected even by the orthodox. Which, is not true.

He's not Orthodox, either. He's not even Christian. He's a follower of Spinoza and a shill for shekels. He gives a lot of true information, but he's lying about being desperate for money.

He's been 'desperate' for more money for his entire career, always on the edge of bankruptcy and about to shut down his site and quite his ministry. :roll-laugh2:

Yet the quality of his material never falters, in fact it gets better.

The goal of this guy is to post true information then destroy its credibility by playing the clown in public:

His amateur image editing is artificial, designed to give the impression his ministry isn't as well-funded as it really is. This guy doesn't even write his stuff, he's got an army of well-paid Jєωs doing it for him. His role is just play the clown and discredit the truth.

His target audience is clearly Catholic yet he chose to pretend Russian Orthodoxy in order to encourage schism and avoid aiding Catholic unity.

His information is 99% true. But don't donate to this gigantic fraud. Your reward will be a standardized "thank you email" with your name copied & pasted in, along with an endless barrage of spam asking for MORE money ... CONSTANTLY.

If he really only got a "couple" of donations per week of only a "few" dollars, he'd be able to put more effort into writing a sincere thank you message.

laughingamigo - I think bro nathanaels videos now have commercial spaces spread throughout the videos. That means that he is desperate enough to accept commercials for money. You make some other true and good points. He does say needs thousands of dollars(50,000) or hes out of a house. And, his videos are top notch. Which, for someone with the stress of bankruptcy, is unusual. But, I still don't believe that he is in with the ѕуηαgσgυє, despite how reasonable is can sound. He may get money and possibly info from Jєωs, but that is because Jєωs have to tell non Jєωs what they are doing. And, telling people the problem without providing the correct solution is not beneficial. He doesn't always provide the best solution, or any solution, so that accusation can be leveled against him. But, none the less, I think he is a christian.
