The heat is on and we've got a strong inkling of where it's coming from. St. Paul told us in Ephesians 6: 12, "Put you on the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places."

Darkness indeed. Yes, summer is nigh here, kids will soon will be out of school - ah, pardon me, indoctrination camps, and so many things are so wrong on so many levels that one could hope Christ's Second Coming would correlate with the Mayan Calendar! LOL.

Where to begin? The race for the White House or the various political campaigns of primaries and the upcoming November elections where we'll be inundated with lies galore? The Tea Party versus the Occupiers? Tradition versus the conciliar church of Vatican II, a totally heretical and an unmimtigating mess? The massive maze of our national debt and our economy (which in the opinion of this editor, America no longer has)? When will this great hate that is driving our country apart, whether it be by color, ethnicity, ideology or class, end?

Overcoming extremes from hate to apathy

All of these things and so many more are in existence today because we, as a society, have played right into satan's hands by forsaking the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ and being so apathetic that we put the Church of Laoedicia to shame. And we know the fate of those poor wretches who became so much regurgitation from the Lord's mouth as related in Apocalypse 3: 16. Yep, lukewarm, comfort zone couch potatoes, and not just about the November election for President of the United States, but about our own souls, and the souls of our neighbor, which is every one else on the planet we are supposedly destroying just by being human and waging war on those we should love since Jesus said to love our enemies.

What exactly does that mean? True Catholics know. It means to want even the most vilest of creatures to convert to the only Faith that will save them since the true Catholic Sacraments are the only way they can be assured of their soul being in the state of sanctifying grace. Without such munificence from God, they're left to His mercy at the final judgment, though Church dogma is very clear in that there is no salvation outside the Church - the very rock-solid Extra Ecclesiae Nulla Salus doctrine. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it, folks.

And yet, that is the farthest thing from 99.9% of society's goal. Everybody thinks they're going to Heaven, not just dogs. Oh, if they could read the sermons of the Cure of Ars St. Jean Marie Vianney or what St. John Bosco was mystically given to see or what the angel at Fatima revealed to the three visionaries less than one hundred years ago. That should be enough to have people not only shaking in their boots, but drive them to their knees whereafter they would seek out the closest true priest even if he were a thousand miles away.

But noooooo! Instead the vast majority of the population feed on hate and ideology while those manipulating them posing as leaders steer ideologies into gullible minds, emotionally charging them up with hate for our neighbor and drawing the lines of demarcation on where the leaders and their cohorts in crime can gain more power. All they're jockeying for is a cozier place in hell. That's really where this is all heading and no amount of justification can be given for either our country's actions, nor the actions of other countries or the radical terrorists who think there are 72 virgins waiting for them once they obliterate at least one or more Christians or a whole building, city, country. It's ѕυιcιdє for all and we're not just talking about bodies, but souls, millions of them. Oh, world, wake up!

Hate permeates the air today as the devil stirs up a frenzy of fury against anyone who doesn't agree with them. It runs the gamut moreso today than ever before, especially with the United States waging war on five fronts - Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Syria, and Somalia, with Pakistan, even Egypt and Jordan not far off as Barak Hussein Obama continues his Marxist madness in weakening the very country he has sworn to protect. And that's just the foreign wars. Look at what the wretched Obama Administration has done on the homefront in foisting a false concept of war on women by pro-life Christians, or war on women by Republicans, or stirring up cινιℓ ωαr within classes of citizens by bashing the rich while buying them off with sweet deals and taking them for everything they have to pad his obscene campaign chest. Every day he is chipping away at our Constitution and defying the natural law such as proclaiming his support for the sin of sodomy and same-sex 'marriage' (an unwitting admittance of his own persuasion perhaps?), or using the Department of Justice against its own citizens, or signing Executive Orders that harm citizens or further entangle them in regulations that the regulators don't even understand since there is no more incompetent entity on the face of this earth than the monstrous United States Federal Government. Red tape from the Red dictator, who is not only forming a shadow government that will take over in an upcoming Reichstag moment, but is a narcissist to the enth degree fomenting hate. Add a mustache and you have Adolph Hitler and Josef Stalin personified.

It has descended from Wall Street to Main Street. It's a war on religion, a war on values, a war on God. Well, we've had enough. It's time to rally and wage a war on sin!

That's the only just war we can wage. That's because Jesus said to hate the sin, but love the sinner. And that love doesn't mean cozying up to them and tolerating their sinful behavior, but loving them enough that you want them to be saved. That means standing up for the truth no matter what, even if it means persecution. Remember our Lord told us there'd be days like this in the Gospel of St. John 15: 17-25:

"These things I command you, that you love one another. If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated Me before you. If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember My word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake: because they know not Him Who sent Me. If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. He that hateth Me, hateth My Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both Me and My Father. But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated Me without cause."
And that hate is exactly what is playing out today. They hate God without cause and because of that they hate those who do love God because they are truly lost.

People throw about the word "love" so liberally and really have no concept of what true love really is. It is a cause that every person should strive for: Heaven. But the only way to reach that goal is through love, love of God first and foremost, and secondly, love of our neighbor. No exceptions. Period. But how many are truly committed to that? How many are willing to go all out for the cause? While the radicals of the world and their useful idiots, who feel they're entitled to have what they haven't earned by the sweat of their brow, are stirred into a frenetic hate for a cause they really can't fathom when emotions take over and don't think ahead of the consequences of their actions, those who can make a difference remain silent, tepid, afraid to offend.

Well, folks, it's time to offend away. If someone offends God, they're fair game. How can someone say they love God when they offend Him so by sinning. Call them on the carpet. Call them to repent. Of course, we can't have the pot calling the kettle black so make sure you yourself are in the state of sanctifying grace. And today, sadly, so sadly, the infirmary of divine mercy - the confessional where one can be absolved of one's sins by a true priest - is few and far between because of the revolution of Vatican II that stripped every potential priest of the powers to forgive sins when Paul 6 did something no predecessor in the long line of Sovereign Pontiffs ever did: change the divinely-ordained Sacrament of Holy Orders which defied His Holiness Pope Pius XII's Apostolic Constitution Sacramentum Ordinis that reaffirmed what the necessities were for a valid ordination and episcopal consecration. What Giovanni Montini did was to mandate a man-made rite akin to Anglican Orders which had already been soundly condemned by His Holiness Pope Leo XIII in his encyclical Apostolicae Curae as "completely null and utterly void." So also those 'ordained' in the new rite since 1968.

Think about that and let it sink in. The devastation! Think about how many 'ordained' afterwards, which would encompass the vast, vast majority of Novus Ordo 'priests' are not really true priests. That means they have no more power to forgive sins or to confect the Bread and Wine into the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, than you or I do. And we can't. Ergo, they can't either. That leaves million, nay, billions of souls without the true Sacraments even though they might think they are receiving Jesus in the Eucharist at their Novus Ordo messes or 'eucharistic celebrations'. However, because the sacrificial aspect of the Holy Mass has been eliminated and the specific formula for consecration has been altered, and done so on purpose, no sanctifying grace has been forthcoming. True, those ignorant of these facts receive efficacious graces, but can in no way receive sanctifying grace because there is no true Sacrament available to them in their churches that have been turned into Masonic-like lodges.

Yeah, let that sink in and realize how much work true Traditional Catholics have ahead of them if we are to carry out Christ's charge. Too often, as we have seen way too much, many of those who have realized the errors of Vatican II and that we are in the foretold time of The Great Apostasy, are content with bunkering down in their chapels with the unspoken attitude of 'I've got mine, too bad for the rest or they're lost anyway.' Talk about selfish! Is that what Christ and His Blessed Mother Mary really want? Of course not. Did not Christ rejoice more in rescuing one lost sheep while leaving the ninety-nine on their own as we see in the Gospel for the upcoming Third Sunday after Pentecost? Well, we are the ninety-nine but we can't just lay around and graze. We must turn from being sheep into shepherds.

No, we can't be shepherds in the sense of our consecrated priests and bishops, but we can be by way of example in truly living our Faith, prodding our true shepherds to follow their God-given charge to unite with their fellow true bishops for united we pray, divided we are prey, and by each person getting the word out in speaking the truth no matter the consequences to our physical beings or financial welfare. We all have neighbors. "Be not afraid," Jesus says. So why are we afraid? Why are we so timid in speaking out against the atrocities of the apostate church posing as 'Catholic'? Are we so afraid that we'll lose friends or offend man that we don't realize we're offending God by our inaction? He who stands still goes nowhere. And it makes it harder to get to Heaven when one is not going forward.

    Pilgrimage of Grace

For twenty-three years we've been trying to go forward with this apostolate, often times against tremendous odds and obstacles. We didn't do it on a whim and we learned from our mistakes as we traversed our pilgrimage to truth. That journey took us from frustrated conservative Catholics trapped in the Novus Ordo apparatus while trying to change things from within while believing good 'Pope' John Paul II just needed to know the abuses going on and once he did, he'd fix things. We never realized until the turn of the millennium how wrong we were because the buck stops at the top and he knew, oh, did he know. It was a shock to the system to realize this and understand what we needed to do. After all, aren't Catholics weaned on obedience? That was our biggest obstacle until we realized obedience to God always trumps obedience to man, any man, including someone who was supposed to be the Vicar of Christ. We didn't arrive at our decision lightly. No, it took a painstaking year to research and know for sure. We went back to square one, reading every major Council, every major Papal Decree, and what the Scriptures say. We studied Pio-Benedictine 1917 Code of Canon Law, the Catechism of Trent and compared all that with what has been issued since the death of Papa Pacelli on October 9, 1958. Once we were sure, we felt it our obligation before God to let the world know for if we mislead even one soul in the nineties, we had a moral duty to make reparation...to show our readers how to connect the dots as we illustrated in The Syllogism of Sedevacantism

At the beginning of this apostolate on the Solemnity of the Assumption in 1990 our Blessed Mother asked us to begin the lay ministry that has become SANCTUS with the flagship publication of DailyCatholic. Two decades and three years, or as Abraham Lincoln might have said it: "One score and three years ago." It certainly sounded so much better when Honest Abe said it at Gettysburg. Nevertheless, Our Lady asked this of us and she conveyed through prayer the hardships it would bring to myself and my bride Cyndi, and, to some degree, even our sons. We had a choice. All she asked us to do was to try and she'd make sure of the rest. She also imparted that God would not love us less if we passed on the privilege of beginning this apostolate when technology was nowhere what it has become today.

We prayed about it. Oh, did we! Oh, not because of the hardships my wife and I might endure. We prayed to understand what we could do to prepare for this lay ministry, and how to help our sons understand it as well. And God answered. We knew that we were to take a private vow of poverty, which we did take on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in 1991. To do so we had to prepare by having lived in a state of personal poverty for one year, so we actually started in 1990 in our lay postulancy, if you will. My wife and I gave up everything we owned to Christ. Beginning with the Consecration according to St. Louis de Montfort, we became slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and through her to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. We gave up each other. We considered anything we had as a true gift from God, having been given to us not for our own gain or satisfaction, but, rather, so we might raise our sons to be True Catholics, and true Soldiers of Christ.

Ever since then we attracted a certain enemy that still hasn't let go. I'm speaking of that guy with horns that feasts on fire. He has sent wave after wave of distractions and obstacles to dissuade our sons from the narrow path. One still follows the wider path though he's aware he was instructed on the need for the narrow path. But he's an adult now and has a free choice. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. So also our youngest son. Our oldest is a reluctant prodigal son who has returned to the Sacraments after six years away. It is with great Te Deum's that we rejoice in the lost sheep returning to the fold, but know said lamb is wobbly and the wool of the world, the flesh and the devil can still be easily pulled over his eyes. We must treat him with kid gloves so he will not end up mutton chops. Each person is unique and will react to God's graces in God's good time, not ours and if we try to force it, well, to mix metaphors, we'll bruise the fruit.

So does that mean we retreat and stop trying to convert? Au contraire. Charity begins at home and the greatest charity we can provide is to care more for the welfare of their souls than their physical welfare. That doesn't always play well with others who accuse us of 'throwing stones' and to be careful of those who live in glass houses. Well, our home is not made of glass, and we fear not for as I have always counseled my sons, you can never go wrong if you're honest with God because if you're honest with the Almighty, you'll always be honest to yourself and with others. But then, Traditional Catholics know that. Or do they? From the response we've gotten we have to wonder. Yes, we're human and the apathy is so daunting when you're trying to give it your all.

    Spell-checking satan's spell

Speaking of giving one's all, it is with a certain bit of local pride that young, but brilliant Snigdha Nandipati, an eighth grader at Francis Parker Private School three miles from our home across from the University of San Diego won the Scripps National Spelling Bee on the last day of May, outlasting hundreds of competitors and finishing up strong by correctly spelling three French derivative words still used in French circles today.

The words were "admittatur" which is a certificate of admission formerly given by a college or university and could easily be utilized in the same sense of what Catholics might receive from Heaven when connecting the dots to realize sedevacantism in graduating to grace for it takes grace to truly see the inevitable.

The next word was "arrondissement", which is a word or administrative district of some cities in France. The same could be said for the sparsely spaced traditional chapels for each is an "arrondissement" administered by faithful Catholics.

The word which landed her the championship was "guetapens." No, I had never heard of it before either, but it sure ties in with the struggle the faithful have been fighting since Adam and Eve for "guetapens" (pronounced 'get-eh-pahhnh") means an ambush, snare or trap and the chief administrator of such is, without a doubt, the prince of darkness.

Because of that, we not only need to be on our guard at all times, but be aware that the more we seek to do God's will, the more of a target we become. Yes, there's a price on one's head, or should we say, soul, for staying on the straight and narrow, and when a faithful soul falls due to his fallen human nature, the spirit of satan rejoices all the more. Even if we have been able to escape his snares in the past, we can never rest on our laurels for it is when we let down our guard that his guetapens get us.

We can never know in this life if our dedication to this apostolate has brought even one soul back from the abyss to the True Faith. We strongly believe we have, but to be sure of such would be presumption and play right into lucifer's hands. We do know we've gone to great lengths on this site over the years to not only make it unique graphically, but also provide solid pre-Vatican II Catechetical Catholic teaching, Scriptural reference, and infallible decrees as well as examples of exemplary saints so that all might re-learn that which we were robbed of by a false Ecuмenical Council arranged by false popes for the sole purpose of destroying the One True Faith, and innumerable souls. That is why we were the first and still the only site in the world to provide the full Traditional Liturgy in Latin and English for every single day of the liturgical year.

No wonder the devil is so furious with us and works overtime to snag us with the subterfuge of his clever strategems. Hey, he's fooled many a country, many a civilization, most Catholics in this day and age of The Great Apostasy.

While putting out this publication for so many years has been a labor of love, it is still labor and, as Christ has affirmed in St. Luke 10: 7, "for the laborer is worthy of his hire." In the course of this ministry, particularly in these last few years, we have had to ask more for alms, because of increasing costs and just the cost of living, and have received from the same few who always respond as noted in my previous editorial Catch-22. For that, for those who have given, even the widow's mite, we are most grateful to our Lord and our Blessed Mother, who indeed has taken care of us as she promised.

However, she did not promise that this endeavor would be smooth sailing. God allows the devil to lay his We've sought the right course, but terrible rip currents have torn at us over the decades, with unexpected losses, changes in our own family, and as you might well remember, Cyndi's many sufferings, for from the beginning she offered herself as a victim soul in addition to the private vow of Poverty. She also knew that she would suffer in body, mind and soul. She confided this to her spiritual director and friend dear Fr. Aloysius Svobodny, OMI at the onset of the nineties and he guided us accordingly until we realized we could no longer remain under the auspices of the church formed at Vatican II. While he was a true priest, ordained before 1968 and a sincere man, age and obedience to his order prevented him from seeing past the facade and realizing what we had discovered. We parted ways amicably and pray for him to this day. One reason he may not have been able to see, truly see, is because he was afflicted with macular degeneration.

    Trying to stay focused

That brings me to another point. This editor has learned recently that I have macular degeneration in my left eye. The eye doctor is trying a few treatments to halt its progress, but as you may or may not know, macular degeneration eventually leads to blindness. One of the mechanics is to wash out my eyes morning and night and to check the enclosed chart on the left. If it begins to look like the chart on the right I'm to call the doctor immediately for it is a sign that it's reached the point of no return. When that comes I have no idea as I check it daily. If blindness is God's Will for me, I accept it humbly and offer it to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be united to Christ's Most Sacred and Sorrowful Passion in reparation for my own sins, and those of others. It also means that I may not be able to spend the many hours I have previously spent at the computer as I have done for all these years. That probably has been the main cause of such affliction for the years take their toll in focusing on the screen. Not being able to do this would be, for me, a tremendous sacrifice, for I have loved each second, minute, hour and day I've worked on the DailyCatholic as Our Lady asked. For now I thank God for technology because I can enlarge the type on my monitor for reading and keeping you abreast through tweets. Focusing on words isn't always possible on other things and so my reading books, etc. days are quickly coming to an end. So, I do humbly ask for your prayers that, God willing, the macular degeneration might lessen, or at best, take a while for the blindness to set in. If it would be God's will, I would pray that it might be completely healed. But I am a realist and now, nearing seventy, I realize I'm slowing down. I'm not as fast as I used to be, slower to read, slower to compose, and, because of the bluriness, slower to edit.

I've worked tirelessly for the glory of God and His true Church for all these years, and it has been a great privilege and also a great challenge, to bring to you the many excellent writers, who are also seeking to restore the one true Faith, to restore holy Mother Church. Oh, how badly we need to restore the one, true Church to her former glory. If the restoration is not begun on our watch, then who will seek to restore it? We are the last of the generation of pre-Vatican II Catholics. There are not enough vocations to the priesthood or religious life to reach the billions of souls lost in this age of the Great Apostasy. We don't expect the restoration in our time, but we expect it to begin. Who, I ask again, will restore it, if we fail to perpetuate that cause in our lifetime?

Yet, that quest is in jeopardy for donations have all but dried up. As you know, we have never advertised or carried secular advertising on our site. We have depended on the Holy Ghost as our agent to spread the news of our existence. He's done His part by reaching over 140 countries with an average of 80,000 visitors a month and one and three quarter million hits each month. Purviewing the stats, there is little difference whether I publish a daily issue as I have done during the entire month of May or a monthly issue as we did during Lent and other times of the year. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we're getting as much response from one edition than for thirty-one separate issues and that it doesn't make a lot of sense to knock ourselves out each day when the results are the same. Taking that into consideration, the vast lack of funds, and my own health and disabilities I am dealing with, I have no choice but to cut back.

Thus this edition I have prepared will cover the entire month of June, and in it there are valuable articles, lessons, feast days, and devotions, to keep each reader on his or her toes for the next thirty days. I am sorry to say that our last plea, which Cyndi wrote in her article, generated nothing. Well actually we received $85. in new donations. Outside of our few monthly pledges, that's it. The result for us is so pathetic and so prophetic, that we could hear satan chortling hardily.

Why would Satan laugh? Simple. Twenty-three years ago as we started out tentatively on this ministry, following the plan established through heartfelt prayer, we prayed constantly that it would be part of something much larger, far grander than anything we could conceive. We believed that in some manner God, Who, as Cyndi always says "writes straight with crooked lines," would bring about a unity among those who cherish the one true Faith, and in this grand vision, holy Mother Church would begin to be restored, the heretics and apostates would slowly be converted, and that shining light on the hill, which had been holy Mother Church for nearly 2000 years, was back, a light to souls striving to fulfill all God asked of them, so they could go home to Heaven.

Unfortunately, despite our continued belief in that Vision, it appears that few others even entertain any concept of a vision, except what temporal things they can store up, or what will be in their bank, investments, wallet or checkbook, or credit card the next day, month, year, etc. Oh, satan keeps us so busy worrying about so many things, we forget that Christ's commands were and always will be very simple: Love God, and Love thy neighbor as thyself. As mentioned earlier, most people don't understand this correctly, which is why Liberation Theology sprang up like a giant vine to snuff out real charity in South and Central America and has spread its tentacles all over the world, melding with the suffocating weed of Communism while trying to pass itself off as a flower to be nourished. That's the modus operandi of the prince of darkness, to make all ugly vices as something to seek as acceptable, while virtue and goodness are to be avoided like the plague. Can you say brainwashed?

Again, to love our neighbor means to love him or her as God so loves them, as He loves us. Prayer, Penance, Perseverance, Patience. These things should speak to every individual soul, calling upon our conscience to examine the state of our soul, the depth of grace God has bestowed upon us, or our lack of grace. Even though we've come up against unbelievable obstacles, we will not raise the white flag of surrender. Perseverance....with God's grace Cyndi and I shall never give up on the one true Faith...not after being tested and tried like gold in a kiln. Yet, it is very, very difficult to tell you that we see improvement in this Vision that began twenty-three years ago. In truth, it appears there is little, if any, progress toward a unity among the true bishops and priests who maintain the one true Faith. We've lived for many years, in a state of suspended animation, where the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is available, and the True Sacraments are available, but the priests don't want each little chapel or mission to be noticed by the local conciliar ordinary or 'bishop', so there is little or no evangelization to our Novus Ordo neighbors, and we continue to average 60 to 70 faithful each Sunday. To make matters worse, just two blocks away from our chapel in the old Naval Training Center on Sunday morning is the 'Rock Church' where thousands flock to a modern auditorium, which resembles a major theatrical event staged on a Broadway-type forum that plays on emotions in a new age way, but rings hollow since it is not the true Faith. Yet, they come in droves and drop wads of money in the plates to be told what they want to hear, not what they need to hear. Is that the love that Christ spoke of?

No, of course not. But ever since 9-11 we've gone from knowing who are enemy is, to tolerating the enemy's false religion lest we offend or not speak out against non-Catholic beliefs for fear of rocking the boat. Our troops are not allowed to wear medals or scapulars out of deference for the Muslim religion while that same false 'faith' is infiltrating California grade schools where learning Islamic customs is mandatory in some of those indoctrination camps. Even chaplains are being hog-tied to accept sodomites as they are, and are reprimanded or ridiculed if they dare quote the scriptures on how God sees the sins of ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖity and other perversions. We, as a society have basically bent over backwards to accommodate man, but forget when we're doing it how much we offend God.

Since when were we instructed by Our Lord not to stand up and fight for the Faith? The Apostles did, and the results became a Catholic world, one satan could not tolerate, so he fought back. There's been an awful lot of fighting over the centuries, but it would be truthful to say no more so than in these last forty years or so when we have gone from being a moral and virtuous nation based on Christian principles, to one that's teetering on takeover by Islamic forces.

We've dealt with that on these pages as well as so many other issues. I've tried to provide graphics to enhance each issue, each article, lesson, feast, and/or devotion. It takes countless hours to put one issue together, and it has taken even more hours to provide you with an edition on which to feast during June. Oh, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all step back from the satanic world in which we live so we might rest for a while in the gentle warmth of our Lord's Sacred Heart? Oh, don't worry, there is room for all...all those who keep His Commandments and, yes, the one true Faith unadulterated and without compromise or the "hermenuetics of continuity and diversity" as one Josef Ratzinger has championed even before he became a periti at Vatican II and played such a pivotal role in breaking away from the true Church with his insertion of subsistet in Lumen Gentium, which became the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak, as proved in Griff Ruby's landmark work Down the Yellow Brick Road to Apostasy: The Lumen Gentium Syndrome.

Never do we desire to close shop on this site. On the contrary, we wish to publish up to and right to that very last moment when we draw our last breath. This apostolate may appear to take the ability of a graphic artist, an editor, and writer, but something else is also required...prayer and penance. That has been the role Cyndi, my steady, loving navigator who keeps me on course, has willingly accepted her entire life, but even more so in these last twenty-three years. It takes two to keep this publication online, but it also takes you.

If there are no readers then why publish? But there are readers, as mentioned above, over 80,000 a month. Yet, if there are none who can or will give, even what is affordable, then how shall we pay our just debts, put food on the table, fill the gas tank, or even be able to help our local traditional chapel with our own tithing? We can't. There are many costs in putting out a publication like this and we have made it clear one can donate whatever one desires. It's not as if we haven't asked. They say all we need to do is ask if you need anything. Well, folks, yes, we are asking. And we're not just asking for ourselves but all truly traditional organizations and chapels. God expects it. There is a cost to outfit one in the armor of God. His soldiers can't fight without weapons or the proper equipment and artillery and all the accouterments necessary for battle are not free. They cost. If we can't pay for those things, the war against sin is lost and any hope of keeping the flickering light of Faith diminishes ever more.

Do you want to be responsible for such a fate? This editor is, at this moment, dumb-struck by the near-total silence of our readers who did not respond to our latest plea. I am still human. I have a responsibility to pay my just debts, which are not for the needs of either my wife or myself, but for furthering the true Faith. I am also struggling just a bit with the knowledge of the macular degeneration. I'm not only having trouble seeing lately, but I'm also having trouble with figuring out why our readership remains nearly constant but donations have decreased. It doesn't seem to matter whether we put a new issue online each day, or once a week, or one a month? It is not that we are ungrateful for our readers, and all the countries we reach, but it hurts somehow that those who are loyal readers don't understand that there are costs behind such a publication, and we have labored to keep those costs to a minimum at all times. So, in concluding this editorial, I find that there are no words to express to our readers how I have come to "feel", for lack of a better expression, as summer 2012 begins. The human side of me says, "is it really worth the headaches?" I'd like to believe it truly is, that our efforts have not been in vain.

This editor does not know if we'll be able to come back in July. It's all contingent on your response. That's as clear as I can put it. We are on the edge of a financial abyss, and if we fall into it because our loyal readers refuse to comprehend that publications of this stripe are costly, then perhaps we might not be able to continue SANCTUS either. Cyndi has told me how the Mother of God weeps because of the apathy of her children who are strung out around the world like beads on a rosary who keep the one true Faith. The beads are there, but not the links that join one to another. That is why this site has long waged a campaign to bring together the true bishops, the traditional bishops as Griff has been urging in his many columns and YouTube series for it's high time to bury the hatchets and unite for the sake of souls.

The Traditional movement needs to link those beads. As I was just talking with Griff the other day, we talked about how many true traditional bishops there are in the world and wondered if it really is a mere twelve men. If so, then we have come full circle in God's infinite plan of salvation. Christ started His Church with twelve apostles who effected countless conversions and died trying. So also could it be that the restoration of His Church will become a reality through twelve shepherds who have kept the Faith. The question is will they come together under the guidance of the Holy Ghost and be willing to die trying? In them rests the hopes of true Catholics everywhere who want to see the end of the false church of Vatican II.

Yet, if there are not sites like ours to spread the news, to keep you up to date and informed so you'll KNOW the Faith in order to KEEP the Faith, how many will survive the devious snares satan sets? Without being vain, it basically comes down to a simple equation where it's even possible that your survival could depend upon our survival. That's why we all have to be so careful of collateral damage while gutting out guetapens in the war on sin.

"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world."
