There is a very useful book at www.eclipseofthechurch.com
Gregory Martin: A Discovery of the Manifold Corruptions of the Holy Scriptures, 1582

Though the book was written in old style English it has been rendered into a more readable format. It's great if you're looking to argue with a bible thumper because it gives a lot of information about their methods of abusing translations with specific examples. Plus it is pretty concise at 130pgs. Browse through the table of contents below to see which chapter intrigues you the most.
