LOL ... is this the Big Liddell, the Little Liddell, or the Middle Liddell?

There were 3 editions of different sizes, and that was the joke I heard from my High School Greek teacher.

Too bad that Poor Scott was the forgotten man due to the name joke.  And, as was likely the case in academic circles, Scott almost certainly did all the work, acting as some assisant to Liddell, who then took credit for the whole thing, and where Scott was lucky to get any mention on the front cover.

And, to compound the joke, I first heard it said by my High School Greek teacher ... (Dr.) Greg Knittel (rhymes).

"Doc" Greg Knittel told us all about the Greek Liddell, the Big Liddell, Little Liddell, and the Middle Lidell.

Poor man died of ALS some year ago (Lou Gherig's).
