This truly incredible 750 plus page book is available on Amazon or direct from the author's website: Catholic Action Resource Center The prolific book author (and editor of the amazing Catholic Resistance quarterly magazine Oportet Christum Regnare) Hugh Akins is a true hero of Catholic Action.  He has paid a heavy price for this --having received death threats and other abuse.  Akins narrowly escaped death on May 10, 2006 after he was ambushed, beaten and gunned down just outside of Orlando, Florida by two thugs who escaped on foot when two very brave good samaritans (miraculously?) happened by and came to the author's rescue.  In a story covered by the local media it was reported how Akins was rushed to a hospital by helicopter and three of the schools in the area were placed on lockdown.
