Thank you so much for this and all the other downloads of books!  Thank you Miseremini!  I need to get my laptop up and running again and download them to it!  (The battery is dead so if it isn't plugged in it can take half an hour to reboot...  So. I am usually here using my phone.  😅)

Can you buy a new battery? Depending on the design, a skilled repair man can take the old one apart and put new cells in.
