  • I was looking for "The Bread of Life" earlier. Thanks.

I remember reading in it that, apparently, it's not sanctifying grace that remits Original Sin, but the sacramental character of Baptism. Lol...

Tell me Stubborn, do you like Fr. Feeney's The Point newsletter?

Fr. Feeney was much more mild pre-The Point.

One of the things we were pretty much raised on was The Point in the 60s and 70s. Among other things, it's one of the ways we learned about the dirty rotten jews. So yes, I like them. Heck, I'm pretty sure that I read them all when I was young, I still do read it on occasion, usually when you or someone posts it.

And yet you criticize Catholics who emphasize the importance of, at least externally, focusing on the Jews.

I take it to mean that you found a deeper approach. You like JayneK. What deeper approach have you found?

It's just that for me "the jews" are old news. They're something that everyone should've learned about a long time ago I think or at least know about - the most despicable race on earth, but it is also true that there are true converts.

I got to know her a little is all. When she was a newbie at FE I used to scold her a lot, pretty much all the time actually, but she has come a long way since then. To learn the faith she had to unlearn a lot of her NO training and NO higher education first - and seems to me that she did. I don't think she cares too much for me tho, probably thanks to those days at FE, but I believe she is sincere.

"the jews" are old news? Want to make a bet? They're a perennial threat, for all time, and each generation must learn about them.

You were fooled by VoxClamantis. You're fooled by a lot of things.

You're an infiltrator or a fool. You have fαɢɢօt written all over you, assuming you're a man.
