    • The Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis. The edition that I own and recommend is the one titled My Imitation of Christ that was put out by the Confraternity of the Precious Blood many years ago and has been reprinted.

    My husband found interest in the cινιℓ ωαr and read several, but the one that said it all, and truth was "The cινιℓ ωαr Diary of Father James Sheehan, confederate chaplain and Redemptorist. by Patrick Hayes.

    Wow, things you were never told and even some parts to laugh about and very serious moments. Confessions all day and how Mass was said and where.

    Men dying when protestant chaplains left and had nothing to offer, the Catholic Priest was there.
