For those of you who do not know who Abbe de Nantes is, he was a French priest, ordained in 1948. He was an intellectual who had four degrees, among them philosophy, theology and literature. In 1966 he was suspended a divinis by Paul VI - of course the same old story, call out the liberals and you will pay the price. He operated a traditional Catholic monthly publication, The Catholic Counter-Reformation. His scholarship was impressive. He might not have had his equal in France at the time. He was a disciple of Charles de Foucauld, the priest who was murdered out in the desert in 1916.
