Thanks. Stand by for the, "BoD/B, while not sacraments, supply for the sacrament..." ... making them effectively, distinction w/o significant difference, sacraments jive.

The highest authority in the Church, in Heaven and upon the Earth.  You either believe the Gospel or you do not, and it really is just that simple.  Speculate all you want, but believe the Lord above all.

Here's a question. Is this Catechism heretical from BODers perspective? A Catechism, with all the proper approvals, which BODers imply is a Catholic's rule of faith, does not teach their belief on Salvation. If fact, as is, the language excludes all exceptions. It does not teach BOD. If one were to learn from this Catechism and be faced with a BODers teaching that there are alternatives or exceptions to the Sacrament and deny those exceptions would a BODer call that person a heretic?
You can't give what you don't have. Asking for coherence and consistency from the necessarily incoherent and inconsistent sounds like a loser to me.

When words like 'yes' or 'no' mean either "maybe" or their opposite, how is that not the "Icecapades" of uphill skating?

It's wheelspinning from the outset. You read those intros yet, at least the ones in le Poissy? Pope Pius IX nailed this whole deal in a short address.

That sort of thing makes a complete joke of the faith. Nothing says "Catholics have their heads up their colons" more effectively than this kind of Jєωthink. It's a "good" day when it's just our own bits in the mix.
