"Apropos" A periodical by Anthony Fraser (d.2014) Son of late Hamish Fraser

A little background:  Hamish Fraser (d.1986) was a Scottish communist who fought for the Commies in the Spanish cινιℓ ωαr.  He once walked into a Catholic church during the fighting and fired a few rounds into the tabernacle.  This incident led to his conversion.  Hamish' son, Anthony, was editor of a publication titled "Apropos."  I have uploaded to the library some old copies which I have in my library.

Great history, and great reading. Thanks OAB. What was the relationship between Hamish Fraser and Michael Davies, do you know? Where they just friends, or was one somehow involved in the other's conversion? Any idea what became of Anthony Fraser?

Hamish Fraser's periodical was called Approaches. Anthony's Apropos was a succesor to his father's periodical.

I spent many hours in the 1980s devouring those issues.

Just out of curiosity, was there some kind of prodigy (the bullets ricocheted off when they shouldn't have, there was some bright light or voice, etc.), or did Fraser have a realization "I don't think I should have done that"?  I didn't know this story.
