I found this on a forum I was reading...

current home market reminds me a bit of when family farmers got in over their heads with easy credit. now conagra and archer daniels midland got a good deal, effectively turning farm owners into sharecroppers. the goal in this one is to turn the middle class into renters/housing debt slaves. those who have been greedy in using house like a cash machine will have to lower living standards...........retail sales tanking............low paid jobs in retail tanking...........auto sales tanking...........more unemployed young for the war machine. conspiracy? no, just what happens when c average folks are elected on emotional fear/greed advertising campaigns. watch enough television and you too will think all is good. just some more of the old smoke and mirrors. mike in portland

Watching too much TV will make you think the world is ok.  That's true.

It will bring about the cessation of thought, which is different than thinking the world is o.k.
