  • Yep

As well as providing medical treatment, growing the herbs (Chartreuse Elixir Vegetal anyone?) and manning hospitals/workhouses for sick/poor/dispossessed

Henry 8=H demolished all this, stole all captured goods and divided church / hospital lands up among his Royal cronies (whose families still hang on to them to this day) - the super rich then enacted further mass theft/genocides against UK population with the Inclosement Acts, forcing survivors / families into towns and cities.

The Monks were running water powered industry 500yrs before the so-called Industrial Revolution (dreamt up by a Cabal of meGA rich 'lunatics' who met in underground tunnels ("on a full moon"= suggests Jєωιѕн month time keeping)in UK midlands.
The Heathens retelling our english history on todays mass media won't mention this (christian link to concept) Simon Schama -typical illusionist story weaver

After building their Mansions, destroying villages + churches in the process of a 'Capability' grand-standing garden view

    - they didn't bother building sanitary sewerage in London until some toff realised all his best workers (dying before reaching 30) could have a longer work life = more profit, if they clubbed together to provide safer drinking water/sewers!

Most rich always demand more - Fekk the poor!

"Private property is far more in the hands of the populous than ever it was under Feudalism."

De facto; it is not more in the hands of the populous, but the banks and corporations. Look at the debt obligations.

    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/the-united-states-of-debt-total-debt-in-america-hits-a-new-record-high-of-nearly-60-trillion-dollars

“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.”

    U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864
(letter to Col. William F. Elkins)

Capitalism is reaching its theoretical end as foreseen by Abraham Lincoln. Contiguous with this apotheosis is a passing to fascism/socialism/communism.

That is what is coming next, as Lenin understood.

    "Fascism is capitalism in decay"

"The goal of socialism is communism."

Capitalism is a punishment from God and is an economic system based on the worship of money in displacement of Our Lord:

    Matthew 6:24

"No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."

(Indeed, Hilaire Belloc argues that the advent of Capitalism was not a natural evolution that can be traced to the rise of industrialism, but more to the dissolution of monasteries in England.)

Socialism/communism are based on the worship of human power in the displacement of God the Father:

    Psalms 65:7

"Who by his power ruleth for ever"

"The State is the Divine Idea as it exists on earth.
    " - Georges Hegel.

But to those who have the Father and the Son, they have also the Holy Ghost.

The following is the ideal system:

    Acts 4:31

"and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with confidence. And the multitude of believers had but one heart and one soul: neither did any one say that aught of the things which he possessed, was his own; but all things were common unto them. "

But can only function in high holiness.

    Lenin copied this arrangment:

"From each according to his ability; to each according to his needs."

But as the history of communism so horribly testifies, separated from God and without grace, man cannot act justly and the strong will dominate/exploit the weak.

Distributism is the more realistic system given the fallen state of man as it fully enshrines property rights in safeguard of freedom. Below an excellent paper on its verities.
