  • The only fruit you can (almost) count on is that which you grow yourself... anything else can become "uber-expensive" after a frost/drought/flood and you simply don't get any for a while.

    And what happens if ALL or MOST food enters the realm of super expensive? Then you actually NEED to be growing at least some food yourself, or else plan on losing a lot of weight.

    Remember a while ago everyone was scared to eat raw spinach because of the E.Coli contamination. Well, when it comes from your backyard you don't have to worry about it.
