Money divides blacks and whites in Ferguson

The protests in Ferguson, Missouri, have laid bare America's ongoing racial divide.

One source of that tension is the large financial gap between black and white Americans.

The figures are staggering.

A typical black household has accuмulated less than one-tenth of the wealth of a typical white one. And it's only getting worse.

Over the past 25 years, the wealth gap between blacks and whites has nearly tripled, according to research by Brandeis University.

That's in large part because home ownership among blacks is so much lower. Housing is often Americans' greatest asset and a major component of their overall wealth.

Blacks also typically have lower incomes than whites, which also makes it harder for them to save and build wealth. The median income for black households is less than 60% that of white ones.

Unemployment is also a major problem. The jobless rate for blacks is twice that of whites. The gap has been at least that large for years.

All of these factors combine to push many blacks into poverty. America's 15% poverty rate masks the underlying racial differences. More than one in four blacks live in poverty, while fewer than one in 10 whites do.

The economic situation in Ferguson mirrors the national picture, with poverty, unemployment and low income pervasive among its black residents.

Perhaps they should start paying all people who take hard drugs and produce illigitemate offspring. Also pay convict fellons minimum wage 23 x 7 since they only get about 1 hour of freetime per day.

That would be a surefire way to redress the economic balance.

Obama's social policy people are probably working on a plan like this.

And lest you think those in Ferguson are exempt from the stereotypes...I must disappoint you.

During the looting, one of the things stolen was $200 bags of hair extensions. You know, those fake mini-wigs that give the black girls a bit of "white girl" hair to play with...

I mock the whole concept because I think black women should just accept the hair God gave them. Jealousy in any form is foolish and ill-advised. I am also against hair dye, wigs, and most makeup. I'm a "truth" kind of person.

I might as well be jealous of tall people. Why? What good does it do?

Just love yourself already. Charity begins at home. "Love your neighbor as yourself."

I just read an article on Salon.com that the average  household of whites is 20 times that of blacks.

These socialist agitators need to get a grip on their accounting and equations.  20X's is huge and unrealistic.

10X's, 20X's, 15x's - what difference does it make to them as long as this wedge issue is used to expand government services which do little other than guarantee employment for government grifter types.  Here I am talking about those who have a job handing out the goodies and not people receiving the goodies.

Truth is, and for decades Blacks are programed to fail.  This is what the
liberals want.  Is a criminal and poverty lower class to wreck havoc
in society.   It is the liberals that give the Blacks an inferiority  complex
and they are told they cannot succeed.  
After half of a century of Civil Rights, and affirmative action that
was said to improve the Blacks. Most of these affirmative action jobs
goes to a lower blacks that are not qualified for the job, and have a
nasty attitude that would not be tolerated by other races.
Black crime is high as ever, they are the majority population in
prisons, and commit the most violent crimes. and get away with
it because alleged wrong doings to his ancestors.
I remember in my youth in the Los Angeles area, the Blacks were
becoming middle and higher class.  There was a very nice neighborhood
that was all Black, mostly Doctors, Lawyers, and Engineers. Their
neighborhoods were as nice appearing as the white neighborhoods.
I had never had any problems visiting stores there. My mother drove
a school bus for Lutheran High that required very long distance
driving, up to three hours one way.
In those days, the early 1960's. The caste system still prevailed.
Blacks just did not go into a white neighborhood, unless they
were hired to clean houses, and whites did not go into black
neighborhoods. You have to be a radical liberal to do otherwise.
Why the Blacks today are 10 times less wealthy as Whites and
Asians.  The liberals are the culprit. The liberals want to use the
blacks and other lower I.Q. races for revolution to completely
change our system to a communist and socialists ruled by foreign
U.N. Troops.
