    • First of all no city is really "recession proof" considering the government is doing everything it can to financially ruin this country. And I'm not so sure about some of those cities on that list. Baton Rouge has been hurting from several hurricanes, particularly Katrina and Gustav. New Orleans is doing much better, in fact they'd probably be on that list if not for Katrina recovery.
