Title: Things starting to shake --
Post by: Matthew on February 21, 2007, 04:40:37 PM
I can tell things are getting uneasy, because Money Magazine is putting out sophisticated propaganda on why we should all be investing in the stock market (as opposed to keeping our money in savings/Money Market accounts)

I read it analytically, and I must tip my hat -- it's GOOD propaganda. I couldn't write better myself.

He presses ALL the buttons human nature has -- fear, greed, false logic, you name it. It's a very sophisticated advertisement.

I would post it here, but it might deceive someone.
If anyone really wants to read it, I can give them the link privately.

I should add, that this is NOT the first time that I came across such articles.

It seems that "THEY" like to feed the sheeple a steady diet of such propaganda, to counter the odd "whacko" they might encounter every so often at Church or at the coffee shop -- you know, to keep everyone with the program...

Just in the last 9 months, I've probably seen 6-8 articles just like it.
"Thinking of getting out of the stock market? Don't do it!"
"Thinking of putting your savings in a cash-type account? It won't work"

and so forth.

When I read this latest article, it was so over-the-top, it just BEGS to be mocked. I wish I could draw :)

The ex Vice President of the World Bank expected an ecomonic collapse by 2010 unless something was done to stop it.
