I don't mean to disagree with anyones view on peak oil. The question is posed by the article more than by myself. The main point is that we are flush with oil and gas in Australia to the point where one might think it is valueless, yet we pay through the nose for the stuff while our wonderful government flogs it off for a song to the likes of loveable old China. Whether it is the idea of peak oil or not, we are being had a lend of somewhere along the line. That much, I guess, is not really news.
