  • Chesterton and Belloc made a good analysis of the Industrial Revolution, the dissolution of monasteries and the consequences of this. Chesterton proposed Distributism as an economic theory that could have mitigated the effects of Capitalism.

    It's ironic that the word is returning to slavery, but it's because the alternatives to atheist materialism have been kept out of the minds of the people for over a century. What hope is there until the means of communication have been freed?
