  • This story was posted on Henry Makow's site recently.  Wanted to share it, and share this fascinating website.
We are all so blessed.  This story will drive that home to all of us!  Our greatest blessing is our faith in these evil days.

  • She's certainly right about the California-as-weirdo-magnet part. (No offense, Elizabeth! In a state with 45 million people I imagine at least some of them have to be normal!) I guess the lesson to be learned with the whole "California Dream" scenario is that life is not supposed to be fun and games: we can only get back into the Garden through the Church.

There are no shortcuts (or stairways) to Heaven.
St. Jude, who, disregarding the threats of the impious, courageously preached the doctrine of Christ,
    pray for us.
