What are "They" up to?

This isn't the spontaneous market at work -- it's going too far up (and never corrects more than a small % -- NOT normal! What happened to profit-taking? Don't SOME people think the rally is short-lived? You'd think...)

They have to have something planned...

What do people say?  Record profits... record layoffs.  Is that right?
