  • About 300 people and various individuals and organisations turned out to support the four Irishmen yesterday. Those in Ireland are encouraged and more than welcome to travel to Listowel in Co. Kerry on 23rd July. Transport is being organised.

    Quote from article:

"Minister for the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Jimmy Deenihan has warned that Ireland faces large fines if the EU directive on protecting unique habitats is not complied with."

I don't think that the EU should have that much control over a sovereign country like Ireland. But then maybe Ireland shouldn't have joined the EU in the first place, IMO.

"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."
