Hey all,
I don't want to sound alarmist, but I wanted to mention something rather curious. At the local supermarket where I work, we've been "running low" on frozen vegetables (generic brand from my company) for 3-4 weeks now. To be more realistic, the shelves in that area are about 50-75% bare. We get an occasional box or two, but nothing close to the full loads that we're accustomed to. Finally, one of the managers wrote up a short note and taped it to the freezer doors where the vegetables are, explaining the situation. Supposedly, it is the fault of distrubition plant. They're just not sending any. Curious...
Anybody else having similar situations near them? I haven't been able to drive around to check out the other local markets yet, but I'll let you know if I get a chance. Oh, by the way, we're owned by Albertsons.
Thanks everyone,
Pinoy Monk
