Personal worry about economy?
« on: August 06, 2017, 06:26:23 PM »
Are you personally any more worried about the economy now than you were a year ago?  2 years ago?  5 years ago?

Although I haven't kept a log, I know I have been hearing about the coming "crash" on a regular basis for at least the last 30 years so I'm no more worried now than I was 25 years ago.  We live a financially conservative life, live on less than we earn, save, have food storage, invest in tangible assets and do not practice retail therapy so I think we will ride out an economic storm fairly well providing the electrical grid stays up.

Grid down, water off, mad max, we're toast.

The Dow Jones was at 22,000 (which would be ghastly if it crashes) and Congress has to vote soon on a debt ceiling increase, which could result in a world superpower defaulting.

So yes, be very afraid.

The predictions of the economy crashing for the last 30 years have all been accurate, if you measure them against the normal way the economy works.  The warning signs have not disappeared, they've just multiplied, because the elitists have found ways to continually prop up the system until they're ready to let the dam break.  It will eventually happen.

If you are truly WORRIED about a future crash (as opposed to just accepting that one is coming), what are you doing to prepare? How will you ride it out?

"Pray as if it all depends on God; work as if it all depends on yourself."

Google:  "Prepping for shtf" and you will find more information that you could possibly read on how to prepare.
