Time to wake up fellow Americans... The Chinese market tanked , and it would have tanked the NY stock market.  They had to halt trading or it would have tanked also.  They came up with this "Glitch" thing, but you gotta believe that Gov t , who saw the writing on the wall , had to stop trading, or there would be a run on the banks.  They then pumped more money into the market to stabilize it as they have been doing for the last seven years.  
Watch the Alex Jones show , his live pod show. He explains it better then anyone.  The timing isn t right , yet , but close.  This is how they will bring this country to its Knees.  
If your smart , I would go down each day and raid the ATM s for what ever money you might have left.  When the banks close, your money , what s left is locked up .  At least you have control of it , until things settle out, or they change the system, of course , not for the better.

I have a reason to suspect that it was a cyber attack, too. The stock markets have been weak recently thanks to the fiscal decisions made by Greece on Sunday (whether what they do in the long run is beneficial is anyone's guess, but that's for a different time) and the very real, 99% chance they're leaving the Eurozone and the currency. Ergo, this would be a good time for people to strike.

The NYSE was shut down for less than 4 hours.  The NASDAQ (the second-largest stock exchange in the world), and all other stock exchanges in the United States operated as normal.  The NYSE reopened after the outage, and is operating normally today.

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill.

You're too intelligent not to at least question such an event.

A 4-hour shut down of a single market wouldn't (and didn't) do anything.

But you don't know what it did. You have no knowledge of what happened or why, or what may have occurred during the shut down and who it benefited. None of us do. Speaking in absolutes is not prudent, especially since we're being fed this explanation from wholesale immoral and unreliable sources. It's not logical that those who control such massive money trading would permit such a ridiculous event like a "computer glitch" from software upgrade.  Best to stay skeptical of the monsters destroying the world, not believe their propaganda or give them benefit of the doubt.
