I got a voice message (I saw the call, but let it go to voicemail. I basically screen my calls) -- a real person, not a bot, recording, or call center -- from a local factory wondering if anyone "in our congregation" was looking for work. I recognized the name of the factory. They're definitely local.

So now factories are seeking blue-collar workers by cold-calling every church (large, small, and tiny) in their area. Unprecedented!

I mean, they're not just calling big churches, but even tiny ones located in residential areas. They're that desperate!

EVERY SINGLE lower-wage business around me is desperately hiring, help wanted, higher wages, extra perks like tuition assistance, etc.

Did CÖVÌD kill off that many people?

Sure, a lot went on unemployment because it paid more than working. But that has come to an end in our state.

So where are these people?

I suspect that people got used to not having to work and are finding ways to keep it that way, whether it's living in their parents' basement (since a lot of these types of jobs were filled by younger people) or just going on EBT and welfare.

It's all lining up to the Great Reset, where people would get a Universal Basic Income ... and most are content with that. Fewer and fewer young people are working so as to be able to have families. Who needs a family when you can just fornicate when you emerge from your parents' basement to attend parties?

When my brother lost his job in a restaurant because of CÖVÌD, they gave him a lot of money in unemployment. He eventually got back to work, but for a long time he was making enough from unemployment to pay his bills, so he thought why work, when he didn't have to and when working wouldn't net him much more money than just getting unemployment? Now he is back at the restaurant but for a year he was at home not working.

I think a lot of young men do not think they will be able to have a normal wife and family because of the state of society, so they have no ambition to make a lot of money. Many of these men are not fornicating (though a lot of them watch porn), they are kind of like hikikomori or incels. They want a wife and kids but do not think it will ever happen.

This. A lot of people have no ambitions at all, even the most basic ones like owning their own home or starting a family, because of the insane state of our society, so all they need is enough money to survive and pay basic bills. Social welfare is more than enough to do that. The question then becomes, why work 40 hours a week for a little extra pocket money?

It just doesn't make sense to work a minimum wage job anymore for a lot of people. And so they just don't.

Certain powers that be saw that the hikki model destroys men in Japan like nothing else so there is a concentrated push in America now to get men on porn, games and anime. The aforementioned also gets men to "tran$ition", which permanently puts them out of the game. Meanwhile they hyper-feminize the society and make women into "overachievers" so they won't want to "marry down". Japan's birth rates speak for themselves, the feminization of their society is leading to a complete collapse. In an area I used to live over there you can actually buy houses for super cheap in the rural areas but no one can fill them and others don't want them: the allure of "success" in the city is too great.
