I get more telephone "robo calls" than I've ever received before.

This morning I got 3 calls, and I'm on the "do not call" registry.

We're talking total SPAM calls. Not businesses I've dealt with, and these weren't charities, college alma maters, or local police fraternities.

The products offered are similar to what is advertised in SPAM e-mails.

It's as if companies are more desperate for sales, so they're lowering their standards about who they'll bother, in the remote hope of getting another sale.
