I thought about this, but how to stay warm in winter? And where to park so as not to attract attention?

You'll note the guy lives in California -- which means that during the WINTER it's only 50 or 60 (I'm guessing here).

I know they have the 'ocean effect' big time, and that's why everyone wants to live there. You don't need much in the way of heating/cooling.

Texas also has a milder winter, but it probably gets colder (at night, during the winter) here, and it certainly gets hotter during the summer.

This guy lives in LA doesn't he? Its warm there always, but what about us who live in a part of the country that has different weather year round?

And what does one do about mail?

It may be a money saver, but I'd be too twitchy about tickets.

I see the larger point, I think, but it's hardly a minor detail that this guy is breaking the law. We have a moral obligation to obey just laws.
