  • But the stock market is so nothing. I mean the worse news comes out and bingo it goes up. It is not a good judge of what is real and what is not. A friend told me a better barometer is the Baltic Dry Index.

    I think you are correct. I do not think the stock market is an accuratde barometer of everyday life for most people. The baltic Dry index is the truest barometer for the global world and economy. If materials do not ship, things are not made and eventually walmart goes empty.

  • Thanks. As I said a friend pointed that out for me. What I do think the stock market is a barometer for, is the total disconnect of people to both reality and of course where the stand with God.
