Economic Suffering in 2020

Hi all,

Just wondering if many of you have been adversely affected by the Wuhan Virus collapse and planned economic take-down that we have undergone this year. Feel free to share stories of friends and other anecdotes.

Personally, it has not affected me unduly yet, but I am very concerned.

The First Wave affected me financially. I am 19 and I was in quarantine for a while because my brother has an immunodeficiency. I lost about $1,000 that I could have right now since I wasn't working during that time. I returned to my job in June. I do live with my parents. But, I still have my responsibilites. Also, the government never gave me a check for $1,200 because I'm a student. I guess congress doesn't care about young people like me. Anyways, The hardship stories I personally know are mostly about students where the government screwed them over and they had to go on unemployment. Good thing I wasn't in college yet at that time and graduated high school. I can only imagine the hardship being bigger with student loan debt.

I work in healthcare so I have not been adversely affected at all.  Economically I'm doing better than ever so I've been using my excess funds to invest in preps so to speak.  In anticipation of a stock market crash/devaluation scenario that will precipitate a debt jubilee/currency reset to digital, I've temporarily moved my investments into high-risk tech stocks.  When I sense the crash is about to come I will sell out and move into precious metals.  I know I'm going to lose some money but I don't mind.  That's part of speculating.  I'm just trying to do the best I can with what God has given me.  I hope to be able to use my resources to help others who are suffering.
