  • the best we can for the economic collapse.

My dad along with millions of other people are assuming they do not have prepare even the slightest (whatever they can) (great or small) for the fast approaching economic collapse because God will give them Manna from heaven.

I am reading in Catholic prophecy and hearing from economic experts, we might have a grid down event which would leave millions of people with spoiled food. I told my dad the grocery stores could be without food, the power might be out for an extended period of time, and millions of people could die.

Certain people are of the belief that the heard will be culled(those who refuse to prepare spiritually and physically the best they can); resulting in the deaths of millions of people.

My dad and mom live only 2 miles away from me and I could envision them coming to my house  not long after the economy collapses demanding their manna from heaven. If dad and mom refuse to convert, I will say, “You are not going to get any of MY food. You said you are going to get manna from heaven and as long as you both remain obstinate you will not be getting any of my food. My food is not your manna from heaven.

    Romans 16:20
And the God of peace crush Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

  • Several moths ago on another forum, one of the administrators claimed God will provide manna from heaven if times get tough for most people in the United States,  but she then proceeded to call people uncharitable if they refuse to share any of their food. I replied, "You claimed God will give you manna from heaven. You won't need nor do you  deserve anyone else's food." I was banned on the spot.  :roll-laugh2:

  • How have you prepared for the economic collapse?
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

I have been stocking up on Rice, Canned Soup, Peanut Butter, Matches, Salt, Pepper, toilet Paper and much more. I will not be able to survive for a long period of time, but I at least have a better chance of surviving the initial chaos.

FWIW, a worldwide collapse has been "fast approaching" for many for some 40 years. I know people who still have probably a hundred gallons of Clorox Bleach, a dozen or so 30 gallon drums of water, dried food, ammo, batteries, flashlights, etc. etc. etc. from the mid 70s when the collapse/chastisement/Three Days of Darkness/communist take over/ etc. was without a doubt, absolutely imminent.

I know people who moved their whole family to the Alaskan wilderness and Rocky Mountains 40 years ago to escape whatever was coming - that is how sure they were - and many people who could not uproot like that, envied them.

All I'm saying is that imo, things looked worse back then than they do now so personally, I'm not in a big rush to stock up because, while I could be 100% wrong, I don't think it's time for "the big one" anytime soon.

  • I don't think a TEOTWAWKI scenario is likely but I do prepare for interruption in services/deliveries.

In this age of political unrest not to mention the ever present possibility of natural disasters via weather control I think it is prudent to be ready to ride out a storm, regardless of what form it takes.

I have been watching an interesting BBC series that is now on youtube called "The Wartime Farm"

It is an eight part series on what life on a British farm was like during WW2 and the hardships they faced and how they "made do".  We may soon face a similar situation.

The same team has done series on the Tudor period, Victorian, and Edwardian periods also.  If you can ignore their gross ignorance on Catholic theology, the one on the Tudor farm is fascinating from the perspective of how things were done pre-technology.

When you think about it we really live in an anomalous period of time.  Never before have "consumers" had items available on demand, all previous generations had to be prepared, whether that was preparing for winter, for famine, for war, for sickness, or shortages of one sort or another.
