I just came back from a visit to my grandmother who is in a nursing home. Thinking about older people I believe our society in a few years will adopt a policy of killing older people who can no longer take care of themselves on a massive scale. People today are living longer than ever before but as they get older they can no longer take care of themselves and they have to go to the hospital and the nursing home. But hospitals and nursing homes are expensive. Since so many older people are living longer and they did not have many children and since taking care of them in hospitals and nursing homes is so expensive, I believe that mass euthanasia will happen. I am not saying it is good, but that I believe it will happen. Young people have a very hard time finding good jobs and when they can barely afford to support themselves even without  children, they will be faced with spending over half of there income just to support the older generation. I think they will rebel and when the government has to face the skyrocketing costs of taking care of the millions of baby boomers whose children cannot pay for their expenses, the solution will be mass forcible euthanasia. So just as there are so many millions of abortions there will soon be millions of older people on medicare forcibly killed by the government.
