  • Remember the starvation of the millions, if not tens of millions, of Slavs by the hands of the Bolsheviks(Jєωs)?
Expect the price of meat to continue higher.

Here is a concise video about the topic:

There is explicit language at the end.

  • I see more nasty unhealthy processed vegan Frankenstein meat.  Yuk. Gross.

Eating processed soy is not healthy.
May God bless you and keep you

  • There are a lot of pigeons near me. We could eat them. I hear they are tasty. But after a while they would all be gone.

  • So-called Frankenmeat made from processed soy is NOT healthy.  First of all, chemicals and artificial colors are used to make it appear red and have a consistency somewhat like hamburger meat.  Soy contains high amounts of estrogen.  A steady diet of it is not advisable except to women with a deficiency.  Too much estrogen causes cancers of the abdominal, reproductive, and mammary organs.  Tofu now and then is fine, and a spritz of soy sauce won’t write one’s death certificate, but constant ingestion of soy in its processed form is no better than fatty, cholesterol laden meat it is supposed to replace.

  • The fake frankenmeat tastes like crap anyway, nothing like the real thing. Unless you like beets, because that's primarily what it tastes like with some meat seasonings.

I actually think the veggie "chicken" nuggets are pretty good. They're made from chickpeas rather than soy, at least the ones I bought. There's also these chicken-veggie nuggets that I get for the kids that are pretty good too.

If they're going to take meat from us, well, I guess that makes the Friday abstinence that much easier :laugh1:
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • Yes. For many years most Christians didn’t eat any meat on any Friday including Lent.

If people would start being Christians everything.

May God bless you and keep you

  • Patience is a conquering virtue. The learned say that, if it not desert you, It vanquishes what force can never reach; Why answer back at every angry speech? No, learn forbearance or, I'll tell you what, You will be taught it, whether you will or not.

I tried Huitlacoche con Chapulines (corn fungus with fried grasshoppers). I survived.

The only thing I hated about dove hunting was eating them. Eventually I found a stew recipe with green olives that over-powered the awful taste of those corn-eating doves with the awful taste of the green olives. I gave up dove hunting.

  • So-called Frankenmeat made from processed soy is NOT healthy.  …

Tofu, tempeh, and natto are all processed soybeans. All of those are healthy.

When I was schooling in Japan, the Japanese were shocked that I liked natto. Being gooey and fermented it is rather pungent and even most Japanese don't like it. A fairly common meal for our meatless days is steamed rice, natto, hot mustard, and tsukemono.

Then they put vinegared pill bugs in front of me. I didn't try them. I didn't see any of them eating the pill bugs either. :laugh1:
