UK is just phasing out the paper £20 and £50 notes in favor of polymer banknotes. A lot of other countries have already done this.

And the Bank of Ireland reversed their cashless decision after major public backlash. (https://www.irishtimes.com/business/financial-services/2022/07/22/aib-reverses-plan-to-make-70-banks-cashless-following-public-unease/)

Plastic money has been par for the course up here. looks cheap, feels cheap, and by gum, it is cheap. Of course we still have our 1 and 2 dollar coins. At least that feels like money :smirk:
Title: Re: Coming on Sept 30th! Italy to denounce Lateran Treaty?

Pope request funds brought to Vatican bank by sept 30th.
Dictator Pope (https://isidore.co/calibre/#panel=book_details&book_id=6799), end of ch. 3:
Quote
How long, for example, will the Italian judiciary wait before demanding the names of the Italian citizens who have broken Italian law, in acts from money laundering to tax evasion, by using APSA-ciphered accounts? Will European and international banking authorities decide to shut down APSA’s access to global banking until APSA is reformed by bodies outside the Vatican? And finally, and most historic of all, will Francis’s failures prompt the Italian government to denounce the Lateran Treaty of 1929, ending Vatican City’s status as an independent state, in order to clean up the lawless, corrupt playground the Vatican has become?

Well, if we hyperinflate, we could pay off our homes with a week's pay.  :laugh1:

And when it does actually fall, it'll probably land right on top of you.

They're eventually going to crash the economy for their Great Reset.  Nothing wrong with speculating about it.  If you're not interested, you're free to pass on the thread.  I tend not to look a lot of threads that don't interest me, but I don't go in there just to deride the people who are interested in the topic.

Maybe it should't feel real, beause the physical currency is actually backed up by nothing and is purely imaginary.  Having paper cash or metal coins gives people the illusion of it being real hard currecy.  So perhaps it's more realistic that it should look and feel like a child's play money.
