Sure, mate. I got some good products at a fair price, all delivered to my door (something not to be overlooked when one is very busy). Some of the products I purchased are of a very high quality, while others are more than suitable. I also noticed an ad in the paper last week about 1/2-price chili. I went to the store and bought over 200 cans. I went to multiple locations, so as not to be TOO obvious. I priced items at Costco, too, and I will be going back soon to get some more beans, rice, etc.
The site
http://www.efoodsdirect.com also looks pretty good, and I may be getting some stuff from them in the very near future. I was pleased enough with bulkfoods to order again today. I did not get one out-of-stock item in my shipment, but I can, if I choose, reorder an item almost identical. I will need to repackage everything for my purposes, but that is a negligible expense. The site listed at the beginning of this paragraph likely eliminates such a need, at least in part. They also pay a good bit toward a Berkey water filter.
As of today, there have been recent riots, resulting from food matters, in some 34 countries.
In addition to food, I would get some basic gear - and do not skimp on gloves, shoes, etc. It may cost more to get the best (deals can be found, especially as it is now spring), but you will be much happier. I worked outside in ALL conditions for a few years, and good boots and gloves made ALL the difference. Cold hands/feet means being miserable and far less capable of doing what needs to be done.
