    • Why is it, so many forum members discuss everything that's wrong with the media and then they don't head their own advice?  This is clip is from a movie!!!

    This clip is uploaded to you tube twice.  This is a comment from this entry of the "bank robbery in Detroit", .

    U do realize that this is from a movie? checkout the title Bank robbery in L.A.,Same thing. Did u the hear the guy say cut? oh boy

    Didn't anyone while watching, notice the quality of the film?  If it had been recorded by a phone or surveillance camera, does anyone think the film clip would have been of such high quality?

    I live near Detroit.  It is not as bad as the media makes out.  But again, so many people believe the picture the media paints of Detroit.  And yes, I said I live near Detroit and no I'm not moving to Detroit.  It is not the best city to live in, but it's not the worst.  

    I have no doubt there are uploaded pieces on you tube that show the bad parts of Detroit.  I'm not saying they don't exist.  But, there are many nice, well kept neighborhoods in the city.  

    Detroit has enough problems.  I can't understand why the media doesn't single out, Atlanta, Cleveland, etc.?

    It was a take from a commercial, not a movie.  :popcorn:

    Also, Cheryl, I said it was an actual video, which it was, and to enjoy. And it was of a bank robbery, which was from a take of a commercial set.

    Was still funny.  :laugh2:

    There is a nice CMRI chapel with an attached K-12 school in Wayne, MI so it's not like the entire area of Detroit is rot gut.

    There is indeed Capt!  St. Joseph's in Wayne, is were I attend Mass.
