  • Agreed, and that is the only way you flat earthers can win this "game": wait until everyone else has left the asylum, then you'll be left as the "winner".
Look, if you don't have the goods, don't bother pretending you do.  Your pixel dissertation was disinformation, based on some fantasy in your mind.  I've seen sixty miles of horizon side to side and the 1/2 mile of curve on each side that should be there if earth is a ball, isn't.  You don't dare go look for yourself because it isn't truth you're after, its attempting to look like you know what you're talking about.  Well, you failed.

Oh, did I forget to mention this (I thought I did mention it about 20 times already, but here is number 21 anyway, hang on tight, it's going to be really hard to  grasp):

No human being can with the naked eye see a half mile drop spread out over a 60 mile horizon. If you were able to do this, ring the Guiness book of records now, you're a winner, a genius, a superhuman creature!

And if you dare claim once more that you "should be able to see this" or that you "did it", then I will reply once more that "you win again Charlie, I give up".

And by the way, we're not even talking about a half mile drop, but a 0.121212 mile drop on the left and a 0.121212 mile drop on the right. Sorry if this calculation could/would/might/WILL overheat your superhuman brain.

  • Yea, I rely on the Church, the Fathers and Scripture, something you cannot do with your model.
But you are all wrong in your understanding of these.  They don't support you.  If you can't make your science arguments work, you've got nothing.

I'm all wrong on these?  Seriously?  You have literally zero to support your model.  I mean, c'mon.  NASA is a proponent of the evolutionary Big Bang dependent on heliocentrism that you buy so their veracity is nil. Other than pagans, you have no support for what you say. I provided several Fathers quotes on the subject and I don't understand?  Then I showed that the Fathers based their assessment on Scripture.  And I don't understand?  And then I showed how the Church condemned heliocentrism.  And I don't understand?  And then I showed how the pagans have been utterly faithful to their global heliocentrism.  How they were contradicted for pagan ideas by various Catholic Fathers.  And I don't understand?  These and dozens of demonstrations add up to a clue. You have no proof for what you believe, except pagan globalism entrenched in our government. Who are you to say the Fathers are saying the opposite of what they said? Who are you to say that the history of the Fathers I provided is wrong? You have nothing to say except that 'I don't understand' when in fact, you fail to see what's right in front of you because you prefer scientism.

You do not understand the significance of what you quote.  The personal opinions of some Church Fathers do not show that is the correct position or the correct way to interpret Scripture.  There is a papal encyclical that explicitly says they were wrong.  You have been shown this information many times.  And you keep acting like heliocentrism is relevant no matter how many people explain it is not or how many times you are shown it.  You have not shown anything that you think you have shown.

You do not understand and anyone with an open mind can see it.  Over the last month or so, I have written many carefully researched posts and included many references to support my position.   You make illogical, emotional arguments in your attempts to support yours.  Any objective observer can see this.

This from the woman who said' been proven by science,' and 'proven by science is not a thing'.

  • It is somewhat comforting to observe that all scientific arguments about the flat earth hoax have been replaced by historical arguments, as in "he said this, no because she said that, but he is more reliable, and she's more trustworthy, but my source is better than yours, and you don't understand what he said that she claimed that they denied...".

At least these historical arguments are not clear cut like the scientific evidence we can all verify for ourselves. So, we can now argue indefinitely, and nobody will ever have to admit defeat. Yeepeeyaeyee, a happy medium !!

  • .
The time may well be coming when it's fairly common for private parties to take a flight into outer space.
    .
When that day arrives, there will still be flat-earthers who refuse to look at reality.
    .
They will have all manner of excuses, such as:
    -- They're using a fish-eye lens
    -- It must be CGI
-- Could be a hologram outside the window
-- Might be a fake projection to look like what is there
-- It's a conspiracy to hide the "flat" earth
-- This can't be real because the firmament is in the way
    .
Even if you were to take a flat-earther in person into outer space, they would not believe what they see with their own eyes.
-- The moon is too far away so it must be fake
-- The sun is too far away so this must be CGI
-- Could be a hologram outside the window
-- I can't see any "flat" earth so it can't be real
    .
Since you refuse to believe in the flat earth, you are out of this world already.

TiE: I'm not with you on PART of this post.
The Blue Marble pics are fakes, no doubt.
But those other pics are NOT studio shots.
They are pics of the nosecone in the SpaceX hangar.
