To any surveyors out there watching, please contact me if you can visit this location to record a few zenith angles for me. Should only take 30 minutes on site. Thanks.

This is really impressive work! I'm surprised so few flat Earthers are making their excuses in the responses. Maybe they're afraid they'll be challenged to do the experiment themselves.

Great work Soundly, Jesse, and everybody. We should ask that the next flat earth conference be held at the Marriott,

As big a bucket of ice water to the face as all the other shots should be for Flat EEGers, to me somehow the (top part of) the Marriot stands out.
Where, oh disk delusionists, is the 200 or so (IIRC) bottom feet of that building?
Hidden by waves?
Gobbled up by your magical "flat surfaces eat the bottoms of distant objects sitting on them" phenomenon (which I have dubbed the Constanza Effect—significant shrinkage!)?
Lost in the "convergence", despite the visible portion of the building only having shrunk in apparent size to the exact extent real perspective would dictate?
No, and no, and no. Try it's gone around the bend literally as surely as you jokers have figuratively.
Big ups, Soundly. You keep finding ways to make living in a big, floody swamp just waiting to be swallowed by the Gulf pay off. XD

What else will it take? The reality is there will always be snake oil salesmen and people gullible enough to believe them. The flat earth "conspiracy" is a modern version of snake oil sold to the gullible and many are willing to even part with their money to be fed BS when the truth is so obvious.

I wonder if the flat earthers are going to be able to film Lake Pontchartrain Causeway demonstrating it to be flat?

The FE community are in damage control mode going on the negative attention they are sending this way. Another fine nail for them here. Thank you for your due diligence in all vids.

Soundly, serious question and you know I hate to be serious. Do you think by now any one that has watched your stuff could be a legit flat earther?
You have pretty much answered every claim they ever had. Thanks for all you have done. I do hope you are enjoying it.

I wonder if there is a better place in the world for these sorts of observations. That causeway is perfect. And the seeing you are getting over such a distance is bloody amazing. I have identified a few places in South Aus with potential for good long distance obs. But will wait for next winter to get decent seeing. The Marriot reminds me of a spectacle I witnessed some years ago in Melbourne. As the Sun was setting the orange glow on the side of the Rialto Tower (800') rose up the side of the building. I remember thinking at the time it would be cool to see the Sunset from the ground floor then take an express elevator and see it set again 800 feet higher. An excellent example of how elevation determines when the Sun actually sets and not distance to the Sun as our Flatty mates would like us to believe.

Superb stuff. Thanks. When you understand the curvature and actually see it like this, it is amazing.

Need to get a camera over by the airport with the operator narrating the approach while the planes are landing, while also filming from across the lake.
