  • Just keep letting AI think for you.

It's just a MUCH faster googling tool. An ultimate form of database. I have argued with AI several times and made it apologize. If I was letting it think for me, that wouldn't have happened.

  • Here is AI.

I think I will go with that. Not with someone who thinks the world is flat.
You go with that, then. :jester:

AI is often wrong, it has built-in biases and (for some questions) it is programmed to lie.  It's not your friend.  It's often wrong.  There was a lawyer who went to jail because he used AI to write a legal docuмent that was factually incorrect.  AI is meant to destroy human minds and lie to them.  You have been warned.

As a Catholic, I don't know how this isn't painfully, PAINFULLY obvious. I think we have some bad actors in here..

Perhaps if you use Chatgpt or Grok, but Arya is not like that. It was designed by Gab. It's most often correct. And sometimes when it is not correct you have to be smart enough yourself to give it enough information. There is some skill in using it.

I don’t understand the a.I paranoia. It’s not like you can just say a.i said this end of discussion. But people are so paranoid of it they will not even enter a discussion where it’s included. Instead of dealing with what the bot says the response is “ that is a.i and I will not engage with it “ that will become an increasingly difficult stance to take In the near future. As we sit here on phones and computers it seems you can source a questionable book and that’s fine……. Quote a response generated from all of the books at once and all of a sudden it becomes a problem 😵‍💫 I don’t know I grew up with google maybe I’m just immune to the robot overlords hahaha truth is truth when it comes from an inanimate object or a donkey. It’s up to us to engage with it and sort it out. Running from it gets you no where.

Like another was saying, it has its beneficial time saving stream-line use. No doubt about that. But - using it in a debate/argument is similar to using only Wikipedia to write a highly credible research paper.

Right so then you are simply stuck having to deal with the data presented either way. You can refute or accept it. What I don’t understand is when it becomes irrelevant. When no one will even engage with it. If you want to end a conversation here simply quote Grok and you automatically loose?

The people who use it for discussions where they have ZERO idea about the topic...they are relying on AI for 100% of their info...that makes continuing the "debate" pointless.

It would be like a 10 year old, who has never driven a car, walk into a Ford dealership and use AI to start debating a mechanic over the proper way to change oil.  You don't argue with stupid people, whether they have AI or not.

That’s a great analogy because mechanics used to rip people off with slim chances the customer would ever catch on. But thanks to the Information Age myself and many “stupid” people now have our x-tools Chinese knock off autel scanners and we now program and fix not only our own cars but the neighborhoods. 😄

No I understand what you’re saying I’m just not sure if you understand the counter point I’m offering. It is a great tool that takes the time to explain complex concepts instead of getting frustrated and calling people stupid. With this technology something as complicated as philosophy can be explained to us idiots with patients and compassion that humans no longer offer. Take the example above where the machine verified “ 1+2 is fundamentally a mathematical statement. Period first sentence” then it goes on to explain how logic and reason relate to the mathematical statement. Which it did without being short or demeaning to friend. This is why kids often choose computers over people nowadays.

Cathlolics go with Catholic / scholastic definitions of terms.

So while you like again like the dishonest and heretical lying piece of trash that you are.  If you look in the link, buddy, this isn't AI vs. AI, but in the link I sent you are St. Thomas' and the scholastics' definition of terms.

So one again you prove that you prefer secular meanings, just as with Flat Earth, you heretically reject the Sacred Scriptures by adhereing to a cosmology that contradicts Sacred Scripture by being incosistent with having a Firmament as described by the Holy Ghost, the author of Scripture.

Again, you keep up with the lies, just so you can refuse to admit that you're an ignorant baboon who have no idea what you're talking about and will keep regurgitating your noxious vomit onto the page rather than admit that you're a clueless moron.

Wow. Perhaps you can now practice reason and tell me what a flat earth map looks like and explain the edges of it. Which I asked for you and you avoided.
