Nor be surprised if he asks them to perform with the semi-naked circus performers on the stage in the Paul VI "snake eyes" Audience Hall where no doubt they would feel right at home.

  • Not sure if I'm going to express myself coherently but,  Lad mentioned "primitive revelation from Adam and Eve"  and it made me think that maybe Cain had some knowledge also.

The bible tells us that Cain built a city and his grandson was a worker of brass and iron.
Could Cain's descendants be responsible for these ancient cities now being revealed?

In the '80's and early '90's there was a lot going around religious circles about the sons of Cain having advanced knowledge, even aviation and it was suggested these sons were responsible for the many aboriginal legends  of space visitors.  It would explain how they would have escaped the flood, and the aerial craft sightings centuries before the Wright Bothers.  If there is life in space could it have come from earth, not the other way round as is being promoted?  Actually that would fit with the bible that we're the center of the universe.
    True twilight zone thinking.

I can't make heads nor tails of it.  it all sounds so...alien.
All rational creatures created by God are either men or angels. Catholic tradition recognizes no third category of rational beings.

Sacred Scripture teaches as fact that only eight human persons survived the Flood, as stated in Genesis chapter seven verse twenty three and in First Peter chapter three verse twenty. Since this is explicitly revealed by God in Scripture and unanimously upheld by the Fathers, it cannot be questioned by any Catholic.

  • Throughout the centuries after Christ, adherence to geocentrism remained among orthodox people and the objective reality and Christian belief in sensual and Biblical geocentrism endured. Nonetheless, the pagan cult of a fire-centred world with its ‘illuminated priests’ never died; the seeds of their pagan belief-system, this gnosis, having been inserted into the occult writings known as the Gnostic, Cabbalistic, Manichee and Hermetic texts, lived on. Incorporated and attached into their pagan cosmic doctrines were many other heresies and false philosophies condemned by the early Church popes and Fathers from 150AD to 450AD; associated heresies such as there are many worlds like Earth with intelligent beings (aliens) living on them.

According to many churchmen for 100 years now, the Earth is an evolved planet. So, they reason, if the Earth is an evolved planet with evolved life, then why couldn’t other evolved planets have evolved life on them, even intelligent life like mankind. If such ‘evolved’ life exists elsewhere, one could ask if the God of human beings also pertains to aliens.

In 2009, the Vatican itself began hosting conferences with scientists and religious leaders discussing the implications for religion if extraterrestrial life is found on ‘numerous worlds.’ One comment was that aliens would be part of God’s Creation so would have to be regarded as our ‘extraterrestrial brothers.’ In 2014, the Christian Post reported that the Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno president of the Vatican Observatory, proposed the eventual discovery of alien life forms after Pope Francis, speculating about alien life forms during Mass at the Vatican, used the analogy that even Martians, should they ever visit Earth, would be welcome to be baptised. Baptism of course is a sacrament that erases Original Sin inherited only by the descendants of Adam and Eve. Why then would a pope offer to baptise a Martian? To subject this sacrament to heretical science-fiction shows us more rotten fruit of the Galilean reformation.

Robert Sungenis' Review of: Extraterrestrial Intelligence and the Catholic Church: Are We Alone in the Universe with God and the Angels? Authored by Paul Thigpen

Extraterrestrial Intelligence and the Catholic Church: Are We Alone in the Universe with God and the Angels? Authored by Paul Thigpen, published by Tan Books, 2022

Buckle up and prepare for a wild ride. After a lifelong contemplation of the subject, popular author Paul Thigpen has decided to make a case for aliens living on other worlds, and perhaps visiting ours. Catholics will be interested in what he has to say because Paul attempts to use scriptural, magisterial, and traditional sources to support his pro-alien view. The book is 433 pages, half of which is an historical overview of the subject from Plato to Pope John Paul II.

The research it must have taken to collect and collate everyone who ever had a published thought about aliens is remarkable. I think Paul’s is the first book to do so. So if you want a “Who’s Who?” on which side someone was in the debate about aliens, Paul’s book is the place to go.

Here are some examples of some of the more famous names in history who took sides on the issue. Those marked Y gave at least some indication of the possibility for other inhabited worlds, although some who said Yes qualified it by adding that although God could do it, he didn’t do it:

Out of this list of 66 names, 25 said No to the possibility of aliens, while 41 said Yes, with 2 unknown. Of the list of 39 in the footnote, 18 said No and 27 said Yes, with 2 unknown. So the Yeses have it by about 65%. This may not mean much since we don’t know what kind of selection process Paul employed. One interesting note is that most of the No votes come from those who lived before the Copernican revolution. I will say more about the Copernican revolution and its relation to aliens later in my review.

You're absolutely right about what it says in the Bible.  But to play devil's advocate here, those eight people survived on earth to repopulate the earth.  The Bible is silent on anyone surviving off the earth.  Our Catholic faith is based on the Bible AND tradition.
How do we then account for the centuries old legends of the native peoples?
I think I'd be more comfortable with people leaving earth than non humans coming to earth as I personally don't believe God created any intelligent beings other than angels and humans.

4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.

And afterwards as well.  And afterwards aa well. Even if Noahs family were the only ones to make it out alive the hybrid Nephalim/Giants appear before and after the flood. This is why I can’t see any other way than Genesis 6 as fallen angels.

After the discussion it only comes down to one question, were they built after Noah's flood using the sedimentary rock left behind or were they built before the Flood. Who knows.

Both civilizations could have done this. their relationship to the stars was known by both. Cassini wrote

And there certainly was need in this first age of the world to observe the stars with a great deal of care, for by the circuмstances of the history of the Flood which are also reported in Genesis, one can see that the year from the time of the Flood was regulated following the movements of the Sun and Moon: which supposes an infinite number of observations. It is yet to be understood how all the application imaginable by the first men studying the sky could have gained them so much knowledge of the movements of the stars, unless their lives were longer than ours. By the living of such long lives gained for them great advances in astronomy. Josephus was of the opinion that so necessary was this science that that one of the reasons why God granted the first men such a long-lasting life, to facilitate for them the knowledge of the movements of the stars.
But one must not be surprised that the memory of the astronomic observations made during the first age of the world, could have lasted even after the Flood, since Josephus recalls that the descendants of Seth to preserve for posterity the memory of the observations of the skies that had been made, sculpted the main ones on two columns, one of stone, the other of brick; that that of stone survived the Deluge, and that in his time one could see traces of it in Syria.

So, no Hancock is a real person, but the video was in fact an AI narration that was spun around Hancock's ideas.  Question, of course, is whether they were accurately presented.  I did catch one or two egregious mispronunciations there that are the hallmark of AI.  It's getting much better ... leaps and bounds better than the old robo-voice ones you used to find, but now people can use AI to generate this junk automatically and get views, and make money on them.  I really detest AI, since you can find less and less original human content out there anymore.

I get it. The dead internet theory is out there. I don’t know how much I buy into though. You have always had to have multiple sources for any information. Hard copy books will one day be invaluable. But when faced with watching a 4 hr Joe Rogan interview or taking an a.I summary I’ll often take the summary until it becomes absolutely necessary to sit through the 4hrs to get every detail 90% correct. Because human error is still a thing too 😵‍💫😄 then I’ll get the book if I absolutely have to.

  • Evolution! 🤣 that’s done. What worries me is what they are going to sell next. The science is finally catching up and now the government is pushing disclosure 👽 maybe it will be the return of the ☝🏻 “ sons of God” the same ones responsible for the pyramids.
Yes, demons may well present themselves as "aliens" returning to the "planet" that they claim to have "seeded."

This narrative has great appeal to all who hate God and can be expected to be gobbled up by those who lined up for a nefarious medical experiment.

  • So, another reason it's covered up is because it doesn't fit with the evolution narrative.  They need to have that progression from ape to ape-like human grunting, then using basic tools, etc etc until you get modern "genius" man.

I'm one sense, however, archaeological evidence was literally covered up ... by the Flood waters.
Some archaeological evidence has been found, but it is covered up (usually by the Smithsonian Institution which comes in to take possesion of the evidence claiming it will be examined and exhibited but instead it disappears. Although I disagree with much that Steve Quayle has to say, he has good evidence of this on his website.

Right, I've read about how the Smithsonian had systematically disappeared a huge amount of archaeological evidence that supports the Bible against the evolutionists.

Quayle wrote a book called The Great Smithsonian Cover-up.

This is a 2018 interview with him by George Norey.

    Artifacts Coverup/ Psychic Predictions
    About the show

In the first half, author and researcher Steve Quayle argued that there's been a cover-up at the Smithsonian Institution of ancient artifacts, including giant remnants, and evidence of an Egyptian presence in the Grand Canyon and the Americas circa 250 BC (view related material). Anthropologist John Wesley Powell, an influential 19th-century director of the Museum, was instrumental in keeping "out-of-place" artifacts from the public eye, he said. Quayle recently interviewed an eyewitness (identity disguised in video) who claimed he was shown secret storage facilities of the Smithsonian containing giant skeletons and Egyptian artifacts including mummies. There are literally "tens of thousands of items" not just from the Grand Canyon, but the Pacific Rim, and different burial mounds that the Smithsonian wants to keep quiet, Quayle added.
The source had security clearance and saw the artifacts 20 years ago, traveling down four levels, and was also told of items not shown. The finds have been kept secret, he continued, because they would deliver a blow to Darwinism, and reveal the presence of the fallen angels or the Nephilim. The giants were half-human and half-fallen angel, he suggested, and helped build ancient megalithic sites with huge stones. Will the DNA of ancient giants become the super-soldiers of tomorrow? Quayle pondered. He believes that eventually demonic disembodied spirits of the giants will inhabit machines.
