Revelation 21:27
Quote
[27] There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
Matthew 4:6-10
Quote
[6] And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone. [7] Jesus said to him: It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [8] Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them, [9] And said to him: All these will I give thee, if falling down thou wilt adore me. [10] Then Jesus saith to him: Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve.

Where on the map is this literal, physical, high mountain that one could see every kingdom and nation from? If there is no such mountain, you must search for a different way to interpret this passage.
But I thought it’s impossible to see that far, because light can’t travel so far and because “law of perspective”.
I’ll say it again: flat cultists throw together anything they find to “support” their beliefs without checking the logical consistency of all their assertions with one another.

Are you claiming Jesus can't see that far?

What the globers are saying is that those who saw the ends of earth from the mountain could see around a corner. And they think that makes more sense.

You're preaching to the choir.
Jesus was able to see that far from on top of the mountain.

Maybe he couldn't. Maybe you need to understand the passage correctly. Instead of seeing this passage as explaining the shape of the Earth, the Passage could be showing the devil's power in the world and Our Lord's power over him and temptation.
Jesus did see all the kingdoms of the world from on top of the mountain.

Scripture is accurate in all senses, it isn't just one sense so you're probably correct. It's logical and reasonable to accept He literally saw to the ends of the earth, too.

I'm not denying that he saw the ends of the earth but I'm saying there's no Mountain that's big enough to physically see the ends of the Earth even if it is flat. Therefore we must not try to infer what's not there.
Your comment that Scripture is accurate in all senses is not precise. The Fact is that Scripture is accurate in all senses that it intends to teach in. This is very obvious in many, many passages where the literal sense is just not logical. The same goes for some passages where a figurative sense is just not logical.
God gave Jesus that power.

Mark 10:27
[27] And Jesus looking on them, saith: With men it is impossible; but not with God: for all things are possible with God.

1. Jesus is God. I hope you believe that.
2. Assuming you're talking about Our Lord's power to see the ends of the Earth, I never said Jesus didn't have that power. I said: "I'm not denying that he saw the ends of the earth".
3. You really need to put some context with your posts. I don't know how to take this. I'm not even sure you were referring to Our Lord's power.
Thank you. ;D
