Not quite. NASA reps say they can't take a photo of the entire earth. They admit they have to photoshop their pics.
Why pretend images are true when NASA says they are not?
.
Why do flat-earthers pretend the earth is "flat" when everyone knows it's not?
.
The satellites and ISS are not far enough away from earth to get the whole thing in view with one shot, unless an extreme wide-angle lens is used and then there's a lot of distortion, therefore, to get an image that everyone expects to see, they use a collage of segments pasted together. Then they get criticized for faking it.
.
From the elevation of the ISS or satellites, you can only see about 7% of the globe, and who wants to see that?
.
People want to see a picture of the earth that looks like the globe on their library shelf, but to get that you have to be 100,000 miles away from earth, or more. Even then you can only see about 90% of the earth's surface due to perspective.
.
I know how much you enjoy claiming perspective as the cause of our problems.
